I am Maha Barakat a Kuwaiti graphic designer who graduated from Kuwait University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design.
After graduating I worked in a Swedish Furniture Company in Kuwait as a Graphic Designer for a year and realized that it was a great start but not my future.
My next job was at a local Bank in the Advertising & PR department which I loved and said to myself “I finally found my dream job”. However, after a couple of years I realized that the work that I was expected to do became repetitive and lacked passion.
I started looking for my dream job that will be exciting and challenging at the same time. It is then that I realized that I have to open my own company and take on the challenges it may bring which is when Design For You Advertising Co. was founded in 2016.
